The Performance Update makes opening your Framer projects 2.5X faster and comes with a brand new loading state. Your published sites become interactive 50% faster, and we’ve made tons of accessibility and SEO improvements. From Overlays to Forms, tons of components in Framer received major improvements. To grab the updates to Tickers and Slideshows, head over to your Assets panel, and hit Update.

Loading is very project specific, so to make sure we reduce the chances of issues, we will be gradually rolling out the new loading experience over the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

0:00yo my name is Benjamin and in this video 0:03I'll show you how much faster we've Made 0:06Project loading in the new performance 0:08update let's start by taking a look at 0:11our new loading State here we have a 0:14small project and notice just how 0:17quickly it opens and best of all you can 0:20now start editing your site as soon as 0:23you see it and it also comes in light 0:26mode now huge projects can naturally 0:29take a little little bit longer to open 0:31so let's have a look at one the framer 0:34site this one has close to ,000 pages 0:37and here our performance improvements 0:39can really shine so here we have the old 0:43project loading State on the left side 0:45of the screen and the new one on the 0:48right side of the screen and we'll load 0:50the framer 0:52docomo from start to finish are you 0:55ready 3 2 1 and go 1:00so the first thing you might notice is 1:02that the new loading State Design makes 1:05opening projects feel much less jumpy 1:09plus you will see your content sooner 1:11and it's already editable with the new 1:14performance updates so on the left hand 1:17side it's still loading and it takes 1:19about 24 seconds for the project to 1:21become editable while it only took 12 1:25seconds with the new speed improvements 1:28we've tested this on t tons of projects 1:31and on average we see a speed 1:33Improvement of 1:352.5x across the board this performance 1:38update has many more improvements to 1:41accessibility and SEO so be sure to go 1:44to framer dcom SL updates to see 1:47everything else that's 1:49new thank you so much for watching and 1:52as always stay tuned for more updates 1:56coming soon
