About this lesson

The November Update introduces brand new ways to work with Assets in Framer. You can now find all Styles in the Actions Menu, like Color Styles and Text Styles. Plus, we’ve designed a new submenu with actions, such as Apply, Edit, and Find. We’ve also improved search, performance, and the UI of the Actions Menu. 0:00yo my name is Benjamin and in this video 0:03we'll cover what's new in the November 0:06update we're making it a lot easier to 0:09manage all of your assets in framer so 0:12let's have a look I'll select the title 0:15I'll hit command K to bring up the 0:17actions 0:19menu and now I can simply search for all 0:22existing textiles within my project I'll 0:25then hit enter or the return key and 0:29this will show all all available actions 0:31here we can apply the style edit the 0:34style and find all layers that use it 0:37I'll simply hit apply and just like that 0:40we were able to find and apply our Tex 0:43style without having to jump between 0:46different panels next let's bring up the 0:49menu again but this time hit edit this 0:52instantly opens up the assets panel for 0:55us it also selects the matching style 0:58and allows us to quick edit any of its 1:01properties and we've also made this work 1:04for other styles like color styles in 1:07large projects you might have tons of 1:10these and it might be a bit hard to 1:11manage them in the panel here so let's 1:14say we quickly wanted to experiment with 1:16the icon color I'll select the graphic 1:20and simply search any color style and 1:23quickly apply it and this also works 1:26when overriding existing styles for 1:28example we can bring up the menu again 1:32and then we can select a different style 1:35to override the purple one we believe 1:38that these workflow improvements will 1:40make it much easier for you to work in 1:42larger projects for everything else 1:45that's new in the November update please 1:48make sure to check out framer dcom 1:51updates and that's pretty much it for 1:54this quick update video thank you so 1:56much for watching and please stay tuned 1:59for more updates coming 2:06soon
