The July Update introduces redesigned Link Styles with full support for decoration styles, giving you complete control over how your links look and behave. There’s now a dedicated Decoration panel with settings for color, style, thickness, offset and more. These brand new properties will work anywhere, from standalone text layers to inline links from the CMS. 0:00Yo, my name is Benjamin and this is all 0:03new link styles in Framer. We're adding 0:06support for all available text 0:08decoration properties on the web.0:11Decoration properties now expand into 0:14their very own detail view with all 0:16sorts of properties for you to 0:18customize. This also means we can 0:21finally customize the colors of our 0:24underlines. And there are many new 0:26properties here like thickness and 0:29offset, the ability to customize the 0:32style of the underline and control over 0:35skip ink which affects how underlines 0:38are drawn when passing over glyph 0:40descenders. And we can animate these new 0:43properties as well simply by changing a 0:46few decoration properties under hover 0:48like the color and offset here which we 0:51have set from four to six. Then if we go 0:55ahead and give this a preview and we 0:57hover our link, you can see our 0:59underline now animates. No components,1:02variants or effects needed. This means 1:05all of these new properties and 1:07animations work seamlessly when editing 1:10rich text as well like when adding 1:13inline links as we're doing here or when 1:16adding links to CMS content. These new 1:19styles allow you to design different 1:21types of links, like dotted underlines 1:24are often used for tool tips or 1:26footnotes, and wavy ones for error 1:29highlighting or simply for visual 1:32effect. Following our recent linking 1:35update, adding support for rail 1:37attributes and parameter forwarding,1:40linking in Framer is now more powerful 1:43and complete than ever before.
