About this lesson

The December Update introduces a completely redesigned Page Panel, adding support for nesting and folders. This makes it much easier to manage larger websites with over 100s of Pages, and it even allows you to do batch actions like updating the path of multiple pages at once, just by renaming a Folder. Click on the plus icon to create new Pages or new Folders, or simply drag Pages on top of one another to nest them. We have more Page updates coming in 2024, but we believe you’ll enjoy this first round of updates. 0:00[Music]0:05uh I've been going hard from the night 0:07until the daylight telling them all the 0:08yesterday's price is not the same price 0:10eating up W for breakfast I can tell you 0:12what it tastes like wake up and I see 0:14red and I still don't got no break 0:15lights yeah feeling super fly I look in 0:18the mirror see ambition in my eyes got 0:20more than one formula they love the way 0:22I drive yeah I've been the prize there's 0:24no need to be 0:26surprised yo my name is Benjamin and in 0:30this video I'm excited to introduce our 0:32redesigned page panel with support for 0:35nesting and folders sub pages will now 0:39automatically be collapsed and you can 0:42manually sort these to reorganize if you 0:44want to change the grouping you can even 0:47drop them onto existing pages and if I 0:50double click to rename you can see it 0:52actually changed the path for us as well 0:55let me sort it back here under 0:58Awards another nice detail if you double 1:02click to rename we'll make sure we only 1:04select the part of the path we think you 1:07want to rename so you're not 1:09accidentally changing the hierarchy 1:11sometimes you have a collection of pages 1:13without an index page like these 1:16features Pages this is represented as a 1:19folder and this allows you to do batch 1:22renaming as well for example if I rename 1:25this folder from features to product it 1:28will update the URL of all pages within 1:31in a single 1:33go I can hit the plus icon at the top 1:36here to create either a new page or a 1:39new 1:40folder we can then give the folder a 1:43name and add pages to it I can call this 1:46one events and then add the meetups page 1:50I can also grab the Contra page and Nest 1:53it on their customers and maybe we'll 1:56grab our click or treat campaign and 1:58Nest it under events as 2:02well which I can then bring up here to 2:04stay organized all in all this should 2:07make your websites much easier to manage 2:10especially those with hundreds of pages 2:13and batch actions enable you to make 2:15sweeping changes in seconds that's 2:18pretty much it for this video thank you 2:21so much for watching and stay tuned for 2:23more updates in the new 2:28year 2:31[Music]
