About this lesson

The June update brings over 20 additions, improvements, and fixes. It introduces the Text Balance property, which lets the browser balance your headings for you. Plus, you can now sort your Pages and Folders alphabetically, you can animate between colors and gradients, you can now reset the Stack order from a Breakpoint, you can make Text layers auto-sized with ⇧A, and much more. 0:00yo my name is Benjamin and this is 0:03what's new in the June update here we 0:06have a heading but the wrapping is messy 0:08we can now let the browser fix this for 0:11us with the New Balance property all 0:14with a single click next up page sorting 0:17I can now rightclick on a folder to sort 0:20all pages within alphabetically I can 0:23also right click on the page header to 0:26do this for all pages at once next if 0:29your breakpoint is a stack and you 0:31change the order you can now reset that 0:34order override from the breakpoint next 0:37framer now supports animations between 0:39solid colors and gradients next if any 0:43drop- down control in framer has Focus 0:45you can now hit escape to unfocus next 0:49any layer depending on Min or Max sizing 0:52now has access to all distribute options 0:55like space between next if you've 0:58connected your form to a Google account 1:00you can now head over to the settings 1:03and disconnect here to select another 1:07next new text shortcuts let's add a 1:10category field I'll duplicate add the 1:13category and then wrap them in a 1:17stack I'll set direction to horizontal 1:20but they both have width set to fill I 1:23can now hit shift a to instantly make 1:26them autosized allowing for a much 1:28faster editing and 1:30experience and last but not least 1:33gradient masks now also support 1:36compositing this means you can combine 1:38it with image masks for example here we 1:41can add subtract intersect or exclude 1:45this gradient from the existing image 1:47mask I'll go with intersect to add a 1:50subtle fading effect to the bottom of 1:52our asset this gives you tremendous 1:55flexibility as you can combine different 1:58gradients or different imag 2:00with gradients all on a single layer 2:04that's it for this video thank you for 2:06watching and be sure to go to framer 2:08dcom updates to see everything else 2:11that's new and as always stay tuned for 2:14more updates coming soon
