About this lesson

This update introduces a redesigned Page Panel that merges all page types under a single view. CMS pages are now neatly nested under their respective index pages, and part of the same hierarchy. This makes them easier to find, edit, and rename. Plus, if your site has 100s of pages, you now no longer have to scroll down to create new CMS pages—you can always add new pages via the menu at the top of the panel. For all new projects, Canvas pages are now hidden by default. If needed, these can be re-enabled in Preferences. We’re excited to further simplify our Page Panel after we introduced Folders in December, and believe it will make larger sites even easier to manage. Let us know what you think in the Community.

0:00yo my name is Benjamin and in this video 0:03I'm excited to show you our new unified 0:06pagee panel last month we introduced 0:09collapsing and folders however this 0:12didn't include CMS Pages here for 0:15example we have the academy pages but 0:18the CMS Pages belonging to the academy 0:21pages are all the way down here even 0:24though they are sharing the same path 0:26and in practice this means you're 0:28scrolling back and forth quite a bit B 0:30while editing these pages today we're 0:33fixing these issues by unifying the page 0:36panel this is what it looks like if I 0:39now expand Academy I can find every 0:42single CMS page neatly nested under 0:46their respective folder and this also 0:48allows you to inspect and edit the 0:50actual path all without having to scroll 0:53back and forth so all CMS detail pages 0:57are now neatly nested within their 1:00respective index 1:03Pages plus you can now create both 1:06normal pages and CMS pages right from 1:10this menu even if you have tons of pages 1:13you now no longer have to scroll down 1:16for this creation action and finally for 1:20new projects canvas pages are now hidden 1:22by default but if you find yourself 1:25needing them often you can reenable them 1:28by clicking here and and that's pretty 1:30much it for this video thank you so much 1:33for watching and please stay tuned for 1:35more updates coming 1:38[Music]1:46soon
